Cookies

What Is a Cookie? A cookie is a small file placed onto your device that enables UserAudio services, features, and functionality. These files can be read by websites and help identify you when you return to a website.

Session Cookies: Session cookies are stored in your computer's memory for the length of your browsing session. They become inaccessible after the session has been inactive for a time and are automatically deleted from your computer when the browser is closed. They allow you to move from page to page without having to login repeatedly.

Persistent Cookies: Persistent cookies are stored on the user's computer memory and are not deleted when the browser is closed. They are used to keep your preferences for the website, so they will be remembered for next time you visit the website. They are also used to collect information about the numbers of visitors, the average time spent on a particular page and analyze shopping behavior on the website. This information is used to find out how well the website works and where it can be improved.

Necessary/Required Cookies: These are cookies that are required for the operation of our website. They include, for example, cookies that enable you to log into secure areas of our website, use a shopping cart or make use of e-billing services.

Analytical/Performance Cookies: They allow us to recognize and count the number of visitors and to see how visitors move around our website when they are using it. This helps us to improve the way our website works, for example, by ensuring that users are finding what they are looking for easily.

Functionality Cookies: These are used to recognize you when you return to our website. This enables us to personalize our content for you, greet you by name and remember your preferences (for example, your choice of language or region).

Targeting Cookies: These cookies record your visit to our website, the pages you have visited and the links you have followed. We will use this information to make our website and the advertising displayed on it more relevant to your interests. We may also share this information with third parties for this purpose.

Third-Party Cookies: UserAudio may work with selected companies to provide additional content and services, for example reviews. These companies may also set cookies on our behalf and UserAudio has no control over these cookies. (See below for examples of relevant third-party cookies and relationships.)

Other Tracking Technologies

Tracking technologies may record information such as Internet domain and host names; Internet protocol (IP) addresses; browser software and operating system types; clickstream patterns; and dates and times that our Services are accessed. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are surfing the web. Web servers, the computers that 'serve up' web pages, automatically identify your computer by its IP address. We may link the information we record using tracking technologies to Personal Information we collect from you for our own marketing and advertising purposes. In addition, we reserve the right to use IP addresses and other tracking technologies to identify a visitor only when we feel it is necessary to enforce compliance with our Terms of Use, to protect our Services, our customers or others, or when we believe in good faith that the law requires it.

You recognize and agree that the analytics companies and marketing partners utilized by UserAudio may combine the information collected with other information they have independently collected from other services or products relating to your activities. These companies collect and use information under their own privacy policies.
